9 x 12" Graphite
Watercolor Paper (don't ask)
So I don't hate it.
That has to count for something.
I thought this would be quicker and easier than it was, but it wasn't deadly. It got a bit boring in certain parts, but overall I think I'd like to draw glass again... I'm annoyed that the white didn't come out white with the scan, but what can I do.
And man, graphite pencils are demon spawn sometimes, but had to use them here. I don't know if I could have done this in conte unless I would have gone way bigger in size.
Oh, and the reference picture was found on Stock.Xchng [link]
And I don't know if this category is right either.

That's really good. Never tried glass myself, but I know it's supposed to be very difficult. You got it perfect.
I don't want to be too critical, but I have to do it.
There's something not quite right about the bottom. The glass is perfect, it's the shadow, or lack of.
The light bit on the left makes the glass look like it's floating. Or is it the dark shadow on the bottom right, being slightly too dark? I covered up the shadow and it seems to sit better.
Try flipping the image and you'll see what I mean. You're probably too familiar with it.
