Artist's Comments

This is the piece I've been working on, on and off for the last three weeks. I was inspired to find a reference a while back when I watched King Kong again, and here's what I had sitting around. Click on it to see the more detailed version. Some of the shading's been distorted for some reason, and yes I know one fingernail is smaller than the other...that's how it was in the ref :shrug: Eh, the hair was killer, but it's done now and I'm glad.

P.S. Can't believe I forgot this, but thank you so much to my new friend ~Sparcle5 . She's young and talented, and has the potential to be absolutely amazing. We made a deal, and that's really what got me off of my butt and pushed me to finish this drawing. I'm so proud of you darling. Oh, you've definatly been able to capture his nose but he seems too attractive for Adrian Brody. I think his hair is too smooth- but it does look very well done.
